Also tend to like contrasting lighter panel color (such as the gray), but not in every case. I'm sure that the plastic can cover some older butchered up panels and help a lot, but they'll never look as good as the nice ones without plastic. IMO

WebJun 9, 2024 · Assuming you’re using the FBW A32NX and it’s just the Navigation Display that blank; It’s a known issue. Exit out of your flight and reload and it should come on.
